McKay Reed Grossnickle was born on Thursday, October 30 at 10:12 pm. He weighed 8 lbs. 5 oz. and was 21.5 inches long. Byron and I went to the hospital on Thursday morning and I was on induction medication by 11:00. The little guy still took his time though; arriving 11 hours later (thank heaven for epidurals).
Byron's parents had the girls staying with them while we were in the hospital. Below are pictures of them when they came to the hospital on Friday to meet their new baby brother. They were both so cute with him. Here they are checking him out for the first time.

Byron's parents took the girls Trick-or-Treating. They started by visiting some of the offices in the hospital. It's a good thing I invested money in a costume for McKay.
